Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement Grey CDP

Air Jordan 3 from Countdown PackThe Black/Red Jordan 4 made its return over the weekend for the first time since its first retro release in 1999, but there is another retro return that is building just as much hype. The Black/Cement Grey Air Jordan 3 was last seen in August of 2001 and the 7 years since its release has been far too long for many. Resale prices have pushed a deadstock pair from ‘01 far out of the affordable range making the Jordan 3/20 Countdown Package one of the most anticipated.

One thing that will be noticeably different from the 2008 CDP Air Jordan 3 and the 2001 retro version is the logo on the heel tab of the shoe. The infamous “NIKE AIR” made its last appearance on the back of the Black/Cement Grey Jordan 3 and will be replaced with the Jumpman and “AIR” instead.

Osneaker has once again hooked us up with some detailed shots of this upcoming release. They have a few pairs way ahead of the scheduled release in October.

Air Jordan 5 Countdown Pack

Air Jordan 5 Countdown PackJordan Brand has kept a better lock on the back door recently and has kept the Air Jordan 5 in the upcoming 18/5 Countdown Pack much of a mystery for all of us. While some individuals had information about the color and added details such as a #23 stitched to the side, no pairs were lifted landed in the hands of the usual suspects that sell retro Jordans many months prior to their release.

The only original colorway of the Air Jordan 5 that did not release two years ago in 2006 is what we will see in just a few weeks with the release of the Jordan 18/5 Countdown Package on August 23rd - White/Fire Red-Black. Start saving everybody. Photo from KATC.

Air Jordan Fusion 3 “Scenery Green”

Air Jordan 3 Fusion - Black / Scenery GreenSet to release this weekend is another color way from the Air Jordan Fusion 3 line.

This particular edition of the Air Jordan 3 Fusion features a ripstop nylon upper which has never been used before on any retro or fusion from the Air Jordan camp. They also feature a very rare “scenery green” color way and green elephant print.

The “Scenery Green” Jordan Fusion 3s will be available in stores this Saturday, August 2nd for $150. Photos from KicksOnFire.

Air Jordan 1 High/Mid Sample

Air Jordan 1 High GS Samples Black/GreyLast week we got a look at the Countdown Pack Air Jordan 1 that will make its way in the 1/22 Countdown Pack, but as with any Jordan that is selected, there are always some colors that didn’t make the cut.

One that didn’t get picked for the pack was another original color in Black/Grey, but while it is nice to see “what could have been,” the buyer of this sample pair noticed something a little interesting - one foot was the mid top, the other was a high top. Does this mean that high top Air Jordan 1’s aren’t gone for good as we once thought? Possibly down the road will we get a high cut in some OG classic colors? Only time will tell.

Take a look at the photos posted after the jump provide by cincybcats22 of NikeTalk. Just a heads up, the shoes are grade school size, so if the shape or proportions don’t look dead on, that is probably why.

Air Jordan Fusion 20 White/Black-Red

Air Jordan Fusion 20 White/Black-RedPreviously we have seen a few a few photos of Jordan Fusion 20 samples leak, but now Sole-Locker has posted photos of lifted product that should give us a better indication of what the final product should look like.

The major difference between this and the prior sample shots is the lasered strap that stretches across the middle of the shoe. Overall I have been very impressed with the Air Jordan Fusion 20’s and as one who was not a major fan of the Air Jordan 20’s, I actually prefer the look of these to their original Air Jordan counterpart.

The Jordan Fusion 20’s will release in the last quarter of 2008, but at this point we do not have any confirmed release date or pricing so hold tight. More photos after the jump.

Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold - Detailed Look

Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold - Detailed LookHere is a detailed look at the Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold which we reported on last month. To our surprise, they have already started to hit Nike Europe accounts. Once again, it looks like Jordan Brand is having a hard time parting ways with the Spizike. To date, there have been 9 colorways of the retro Jordan mash-up released, but it appears another pair is due.

The Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold will not have the “Spike” print on the toecap and back of the shoe, but rather lasered leather. They feature black premium leather with gold accents along with a golden sole and laser pattern with gold filling. Now for the bad news: Much like the Cool Grey Spizike, this particular color-way is also a European exclusive release and it looks like you will need to take a trans-Atlantic flight or find a European connect.

They have already started to hit Nike Europe accounts. Good luck

Black/Lime Green Air Jordan Spizikes

Air Jordan Spizike Black Lime Green PurpleIt is becoming very clear that Jordan Brand isn’t giving up the Spizike without a fight. Gentry Humphrey was on hand at Quai 54, the biggest streetball tournament in Europe where Jordan Brand is the headlining sponsor. He was spotted wearing a pair of Black/Lime Green-Purple Spizikes that are supposedly another European release for December.

Nothing is 100% confirmed, but it would definitely be consistent with the trends for these to be an exclusive overseas or possibly to Opium. For now we can only guess and enjoy the photos sent to us by lesitedelasneaker.

Air Jordan 1 GS Releases - Recap

Air Jordan 1 GS Releases - Recap

Thanks to our friends at KicksOnFire, here is a detailed look back at the latest releases in the Air Jordan 1 line up. With the highly anticipated releases of the Air Jordan 23 and the Air Jordan Countdown Packages, these Air Jordan 1 GS releases have been overlooked by many. All four models were released earlier last month in grade school / big kids sizes and portray color schemes featuring bright, vibrant colorways. They included premium materials including leather, metallic based materials, detailed stitching, as well as colorful but still transparent outsoles (exception of the gold color-way). All four styles are now available at your local Nike retailers. Thanks to KicksOnFire
